इ कैन'टी थिंक ऑफ़ अन्य्थिंग

Wow, how fast the time goes by one minute I remember myself stealing money form my mom's wallet (Because I was young and didn't know way better[Past is past])and then BAM! I snap back to the present only to remember that on Saturday, I will enter adulthood. LOL. Seriously, I remember when I was a kid I used to imagine myself--my future self-- what kind of college will I go to, what kind of friends will I have, will I ever become famous. You know, the cheesy kinds of shit children think of, and that includes dreaming of marrying a boy band member (Ben Adams anyone?). Maybe when I grow old I'll look back to myself looking at my future. Now that I think about it I would like to skip from being an adult to being an old crone. Just like what Kado said "I wouldn't have to go through mid-life crisis." Good one. Plus, I can't wait doing what other oldies do: Walk extremely slow, have discounts, always be in a wheel chair (Wheel chair race~!), be part of a senior citizen community that plays bingo and do ballroom dancing, have a minimum of 3 diseases or ailments your complaining about, and most of all (mentioned earlier) have fun looking back at the childhood you once had and cursing yourself for missing certain opportunities.

For my 18th birthday, I didn't ask my parents for a debut. I just asked for some moneh~! Yeah~! First of all, I do not see the significance of it (sorry if I will offend some people who wishes to have one). You rent a place, you stress about it for months, feed people who attend, dance with boys, wear gowns and act all pleasant in front of people. Although I don't mind he gown wearing part and the gift receiving part. LOL. Second, I don't have that many people to attend my debut. Not because I'm friendless (FCUK YOU, If that's what you thought), but because I'm pretty much anti-social which is not at all synonymous with being friendless. Third, I can't think of anything anymore. LOL. I don't mind attending them though. Who the hell can resist FREE FOOD? I remember my dad joking to me about only giving me 1/5 of my debut money. FCUK THAT NOTION~! I told them that if that's all they're gonna give to me then I might as well have a debut that's 5x more expensive than the money they're going to give me, LOL. They finally agreed but I tried to ask for more, but they didn't consider it. Hey, at least I tried. I'm a very spoiled child.

Even after all this getting ready to receive my debut money (it's equivalent to a debut for me) and thinking of all the ways to spend it which BTW I already made a list of things to buy which mainly consists of cosplay items, I still can't feel that I'm an adult. How does one become an adult? LOL, it's the same when I stepped into high school and college. I thought the exact same thing. I didn't feel like a high school student only after I experienced my first JS Prom. I didn't feel like a college student either until I experienced my first failure which was very hurtful but I'm a bit happy about it now which is a very long irrelevant story to this one. And now, I don't know when I can feel like an adult. I don't know, maybe when they start respecting me and stop dictating me of the little things I want to do with my life. What's so great about being an adult anyway? Nobody gives you Christmas money, you'll be obligated and expected to act proper, to follow rules. I mean everything you do in school is so that you could get ready for your adult life. Now that I think about it, which will be contradicting the other things I just said now, adult life isn't boring at all it's the people that makes it boring because they set restrictions for everyone. LOL, took me long enough to realize it.

OK, I'm done and I just realized that this was my first post with my new blog name and after such a very long time too.

Why is it that my title is in Arabic? Weird but cool. LOL. For those who can't understand the title is supposed to say "I Can't Think Of Anything." If it means something bad I'll immediately change it because I don't know how to read Arabic.

New Hair~!

Ok, so finally I had received another wonderful miracle from God and because my dad was so kind and considerate he allowed me to have my hair cut. Here's the story. It all started with a well thought-out, well-planned, well-researched (Let's just say it was well) e-mail. I started to think about what I was going to write. What the contents are, the arguments, the pleas, the condition and proof. Yes, well I learned that when trying to convince my dad I better prepare like I'm doing my thesis. so here's the e-mail I sent my dad

~~~MY EMAIL STARTS HERE~~~
Tatay, can I get a haircut? I know you already told me that you don't want me to get one but I have some events to attend to that is in need of a fresh new haircut and this present hair of mine is in no condition to be shown in fancy soirees and such. The events I am talking about are the events that are going to happen on the 24th of May (Aabay kay Ate Meann), 31st of May (Photoshoot) and 12th of July (Debut ni Chii). These events are not the only reasons I want a haircut. It's because it's really hot these days and I don't think I can maintain having a long hair since I get really annoyed with it over my neck and face especially when I'm sleeping. Of course, since you don't like it I'm giving out conditions for you to agree:
1. This will be the last haircut I am going to have
unless you say so.
2. Since I need it to be straight, there's going to be money involved. Please just take it out on my debut money. Kung magkano man yung babayaran ni ma. Doblehin niyo yung babawasan sa debut money ko. ex. 3000 ung pagpapa-straight bawasan niyo ng 6000 ung pera ko.
I'm really serious about this haircut If you haven't notice by now.
Please Tatay, think about this before you give me your answer. There is no need to give me your answer immediately just as long as you think about it first. I really want this haircut. I want our photo shoot to be really successful.
Here are some Pros & Cons, and Advantages of Short Hair:
Pro’s and Cons of Short Hair
Pros:
Time. It's a real time saver, as it only takes a few minutes to wash and style. This is particularly great for those rushes or morning departures for work.
Versatility. You can style it, gel it, pomade it, and just about do any "it"s there is with a short hair cut. Although you are limited by the length, you can nevertheless be a trend setter with your short hair and show off your style. It can be sleek, sexy, professional and aggressive - all at the same time! A classic.
Good for almost any occasion. Whether it's to cool down in the summer, or be more manageable for the more sporty personality, one of the great things about short hairstyles is that it can go for any occasion. It's sexy and professional enough for the office or a night out on the town, and perfectly practical and nonchalant when it comes time to go hitchhiking or play tennis.
Put other features in perspective. A short hairstyle brings more attention to your face. If you are deciding to go with a short hairstyle, then capitalize on the opportunity to spice up your facial features by highlighting yourself with some make up, jewelry, and for the more punkier women out there, maybe even tattoos on your neck!
Increases the perspective of height. This can be a good thing, but for those of you who are already tall enough, a short hairstyle can accentuate your height and make you seem even taller.
Cons:
Facial exposure. A short hairstyle might reveal some things about your face that you are not quite fond of. Therefore this is something to keep for those of use who are more introverted about our facial looks. It is also said that it might take time to get used to that feeling of being "exposed" for those who might of went from the long to short hair transition.
Growing back after the cut. If you are not satisfied with your cut and look after coming out of the salon, you can't go back and get a refund on your hair! It can take a long time to grow back out, and for some it might never growth back to it's full length.
Maintenance. Short hair styles need to be cut more often. You will most likely have to increase your number of visits to the haircut salons if you want to keep your hairstyle in shape.
Advantages:
Easy to maintain
Short hair does not require a lot of maintenance. It can be washed and styled in a small amount of time. This makes life much easier for many people. It is especially helpful during busy days when you do not have a lot of time to spend on your hair. Life's responsibilities can take up a lot of hours in a day. Mothers and those who have a lot of daily tasks can benefit from having short hair.
This is one of the advantages of having short hair. It allows for more time to spend doing other things. Short hair can also come in handy for women and men who take their time getting dressed for a special occasion or daily departure. There are many women who take hours to get themselves ready for work or a night out on the town. A good portion of this time is usually spent on hair styling. Short hair can make this process much easier.
More Enjoyable in the summer
The heat during summer season can sometimes be unbearable. Men who have had long hair in the winter months may cut it in the summer. Some women do the same. Those who have long hair will usually try to style it in a way that keeps the heat from bothering them. These styles may include braiding and pony tails. People who have a lot of hair tend to be uncomfortable in the summer. This is another advantage of having short hair.
More Versatile
Short hair allows one to have more styling options. Women with short hair can wear extensions or wigs if they want to have a longer hairstyle. They can also remove these additional pieces when they want to go back to shorter hair. However, women who have long hair are confined to long hairstyles. If they desire shorter style, they will have to consider making drastic changes to their hair.
Short hair can offer an instant new image
Whether you want to show off a new weight loss or a hot new wardrobe or even an eye lift, a newly short style can be very flattering and youthful. It can be slimming and add vibrancy and new energy to your look and image.
One of the reasons that makeover hairstylists and artists often take their subjects to a shorter length is because it highlights a new image. Women of any age, with some considerations, can go short and look spectacular.
Short hair can be ultra chic
Not only can shorter styles be seen as more professional, they can be viewed as more elegant, chic and sophisticated.
A shorter cut can be cut and maintained in such a way as to make it look beautifully polished and alluring. A great short cut can work wonders for creating a professional or business image.
Short hair can be instant wash and wear
The current trend towards the super short pixie worn by stars Alyssa Milano and Marley Shelton are the ultimate in wash and wear hair. You can lather up, towel dry and finger pick and air dry in a matter of minutes. This is a wonderful advantage to very busy people who don't have the time or interest in dealing with complicated styles.
Short hair can be instant wear because there is a lot less hair to mess with. With the right short cut, hair will instantly glide into place and look amazing with little chance for styling errors.
Short hair is always in fashion
If you look back at hair history over the past 100 years you will find that the bob, the pixie, the shag, the chop and several other classic short styles that continue to remain fashionable regardless of the time period. With all the next clip on ponies and instant hair extension products available, a short cut can be instantly transformed into a longer look in a matter of minutes.
Short hair is never boring.
Because short hair is so incredible flexible it can work with any type or texture of hair from fine to thick, straight to curly and wavy or a combination. Short hair is never boring because it will constantly change shape as it grows. Ultimately you have the option to wear it longer or shorter with minimal investment in time or effort.
Researches:
Long hair can cause back pains, long hair can attract lice more, long hair tends to get in knots and tangles which may cause breakage and fizziness. Long hair can be more dead-looking and dull since the nutrients take a long time to reach the end or not at all.
That was my e-mail to my dad. I just sent that yesterday and then I got a reply minutes ago. I was so scared about what was going to say, since it was such a quick reply. I was hoping that it would probably take a week for him to decide so I hesitated a little about opening the e-mail. I was nervous but I had no choice. At first I thought about not opening it until Sunday but for some reason I didn't know I just clicked that e-mail and started reading. When I read the first sentence I was just so over-whelmed that I cried so much (I'm still sniffing). And I couldn't believe it. Here's my dad's reply.
<<>>
Nik-ik,
I tried to persuade you not to do it, but since you insist...you may have it. However, what i don't want to see are some greasy-punky gel styles, which look like Japayuke. Anak, being simple and all natural is the real beauty I see in women. You're may be thinking that we're some kind of old fashioned craps, but during our days we already have these same styles. Nevertheless, your Ma and I stayed the way normal people are. The Philippines is a casual-fashioned country. Perhaps because of its topography and weather is what makes Philippine fashion this way. But for the purpose of these events you mentioned...I must agree. Mine is only a reminder that you should not go out-of-line. You cannot please everybody.
Tell your Ma also that I will not take this cost against your Debut-Money. This is a gift from me. All I want from you is stay natural as possible, act and dress simply as most people are and keep up the good perspective. Enjoy and send me your pics as soon as you have it.
Take care
Tatay
<<<DAD'S REPLY ENDS HERE>>>
Ok, so about that Japayuke part. I would rather call it Harajuku if my dad was talking about that or if he was talking about the prostitute type. WHY THE HELL WOULD I WEAR SOMETHING LIKE THAT!? It's true that I think they are old-fashioned, but aren't we all? In some ways more than one? I was a bit surprised when my dad admitted that since he likes to boast to me and my brother hat he is the most fashionable person on the planet. =_=.
Well, whatever I'm just happy that my dad agreed to this condition and he even said it was a gift so we wouldn't need to take some amount from my debut-money. I was so happy. To some it may be just a blog about me getting worked up about a hair-cut but there are times when we feel like this too. To me it just happened to be in a form of a haircut. The things I need to do to get what I want. I'm pretty spoiled but my parents let me be this way if only I work my way to get what I want. It's not that bad is it?
It's Earth Week~! Happy Earth Week~!
Earth Week, probably one of my most favourite weeks in the calendar ever since Monday. To tell you the truth I've only known about Earth Week last year but became fully aware and excited of its existence this Monday. For all those who've been with me these past few months (BTW, we are no longer Froshies, Froshies Woot~! Kudos to that) will notice me complaining about how sudden climate changes are and how I would say Global Warming this and Global Warming that blah, blah, blah. And I'm not talking about boys or "the advantages and disadvantages of the beautiful people" (it's an inside joke =_=) although they contribute to that at some point. So, about this thing that is widely happening all-over the world, what exactly is it? When we take a reality check no one really seems to care about Global Warming except for a few. After all we all have our problems to deal with, problems we can actually feel the effect and the impact on. With all these things going on Global Warming seems really insignificant to us, especially to the people who don't know what's going on. I'm not gonna get side-tracked and talk about the ignorance of people, even politicians because it's going to be a very long talk about education and what-not so this is where the ignorance talk will end.
This morning I totally forgot that today is the start of Earth Week because I dreamt of something amazing with a guy I like. For those people who knows the existence of this guy Don't the Fuck tell who he is. Anyway, it was good. So this is not the point. The point is being aware of Global Warming. (Soooo, I just shifted from one topic to another without making any connections or sense, wow). Anyway, Just watch An Inconvenient Truth it features Al Gore (which I wished, only an hour ago, could've have won the presidential elections) talking about global warming. It make a lot of people understand that Global Warming is not a theory but a fact which practically only about less than half of the population knows about.
You Gotta Love Dane Cook
The funny thing about comedy is: People want someone to show them the obvious. These comedians are very observant people. They use this advantage to make people laugh. People--I quote Sherlock Holmes--see but do not observe. They see things normal to the perception of many but to them they see something off about these "normal behaviour" and they make it known to other people through comedy. I wanted to be a comedian, it feels really good to make people laugh. You kind of feel that you're some kind of hero that can make a person forget about something painful even for a short while. Now, I realize that it's really hard to make people laugh but I still try my best. When it comes to trying your best one cannot really guarantee the outcome of it. At the end of the day everything weighs upon chance. Yes chance, aka "luck." I'm not inventing this, Solomon said it himself in the Bible. Check it if you don't believe me. And because most of the world powers itself with luck, no one really is at fault for everything. Like, for example, a boy passed a school entrance exam but didn't quite make it to the interview, you cannot blame the boy for everything. It's chance. Another is, you think you already made a the right decision but as far as the world goes, there is no such thing as a right decision, all decisions are wrong. Because, somewhere along the line some one will get hurt and it will give a a negative effect on the person, either directly or indirectly. I for one do not think that this is related, but I just had to get this out of my mind. No one is useless in the world, just as no one is perfect in the world. "Some people have it and other people don't." (The Academy Is... "Bulls in Brooklyn"). It's only chance that some people are better than others but no one is useless. It's obvious that people have skills that they can use for their advantage or their productivity, they can do so much because of this and because of people who believe in them. Believing. Believing is such a strong word, when you believe you trust. When you believe too much you are gullible . Children are gullible because they believe too much. Adults are less gullible that's because they've learned not to trust everyone. Some time in their life they've been hurt before and they're not taking any chances. So when a person grows up does that person stop believing? Can you trust someone without believing in him? Would you stop believing because he failed you once, even though you know that your belief in that person is his only driving force? Even though he tried so hard to do the things you want, sacrificing the things he want? Would you be disappointed and would you stop believing in that person?
Looking into the future is nice it can be your driving force but when a person is obsessed of the outcome of the future he forgets the present and starts living in the time that hasn't even come yet.
You have to watch Dane Cook's Vicious Circle Tour in Youtube. It's super hilarious~! The video above is just a part of it.
KIBA~!
This picture is not mine, I just got it from some site in the net. But this is certainly how Kiba will look like.
JAPANESE SPITZ
History: The breed is believed to have come from the Samoyed although they do bear a strong resemblance to the American Eskimo, which in turn comes from the German Spitzen. The Japanese continued to down size the Samoyed, the end result being the Japanese Spitz. According to records, the first Spitz arrived circa 1918 from America, Canada, China and Australia and it is believed that these dogs became the bases of the Japanese Spitz as we know it today. The Kennel Club officially recognised the breed in 1981.
General Physical Description: Bearing an undeniable resemblance to their larger cousins, the Samoyeds, the Japanese Spitz is a handsome breed. Their profuse, white, stand-off coat, pointed muzzle and bushy tail carried over their backs make them instantly recognisable. The Japanese Spitz's fur is always white.
Ailments: A healthy breed with few genetic problems, the main one being patellar luxation (slipping patella) which responsible breeders are working hard on obliterating. They can also be prone to runny eyes, but this is rarely caused by any serious eye defect, the most common reason being too small tear ducts, an allergy to long grass or when they are stressed.
Intelligence: An intelligent breed which is not too difficult to train although consistency is a must. You must let them know who is the ‘boss’. They learn quickly and love to participate in agility and flyball.
Care Requirements: Despite its long, pure white coat the Japanese Spitz is a low maintenance breed. Contrary to most people''''s expectations and belief their coat is very easy to look after. Due to its texture, mud and dirt fall off or can be brushed out very easily. While it loves to play in the dirt, this is a fastidious dog that does not like getting dirty and, like a cat, will lick itself clean. Provided they are kept well groomed they should only require a bath at most twice a year. They shed their coat once a year. The shedding will usually only last about 10 days and the dead hair is easily combed out.
General Character And Temperament
Alert, high-spirited and playful dogs who will fit into almost every lifestyle. They love family life and will not cause any problems for other household pets. They are good with children if raised with them and adore a ‘rough and tumble’. They become very protective over them. They can tend to be rather reserved with strangers and unknown children but, with their own families will be affectionate and loyal. They are very aware of their surroundings and what is going round about them, always watching and listening. They do not normally bark unless something has upset them.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
So what is this for? You ask? It seems that there has been a miracle yesterday and my mom finally bought us a dog~! Hooray~! It happened one morning when we were preparing to go to church. But then, my mom just remembered that we were suppose to go there at 8:30 but then it was already 10:00 and the mass was about to end at 10:30 (it would take us 30 minutes to arrive at FAT). But we were all bathed and dressed then I suggested to my that we should go shopping instead. Then my mom said "Let's just buy some groceries." That wasn't exactly what I call shopping but I agreed with my brother anyway. On the road my mom was talking about buying new love birds to replace the ones that died because she forgot to feed them when me, my brother and ate were out for vacation. The mother's reason: "The birds were set up too high" =_=. So we decided to shop at Cash & Carry because it was very near Cartimar. I was shocked to see it has improved so much.
[Fast forward to Cartimar]

At Cartimar: It was one of my favourite-st place in Manila. As we were looking for the Bird shop my brother and I were a bit distracted by all the cute dogs in Cartimar~! So we finally bought our two love birds and we were pestering the mother for a dog and my nature being spoiled I cannot take another time of being rejected from having a dog. So me and my brother acted like children pointing to all the dogs that looked extremely cute. We saw three Siberian Husky puppies which we want but we know that it's too expensive for us so we just marveled at their beauty and coolness. Then we saw a very cute and adorable Chow-Chow puppy rolling around in its cage which unbelievably caught my mother's attention and amazingly she asked for its priced which is seventy-five hundred bucks My mom said I'll have to think about that so we continue walking and then we came to another stall and then we saw a pure white dog looking so cute and sleepy there were a couple of people there too looking at a very rare pure black Chow-Chow puppy. I didn't know what had happened and how it happened because the store lady made me hold this very white sweet puppy and then suddenly my mom agreed on buying this dog. When asked of the breed I didn't understand the store lady. My mom got a 500 bucks discount for this dog so it was only bought 4000 bucks, but then my mom wanted it vaccinated and de-wormed so that was paid for too. She even bought a cage, shampoo/powder, conditioner and 4 pounds of puppy food all-in-all she spent 6000 bucks for this puppy. When we got home I immediately searched for this dog's characteristics. I could not find anything about a Japanese Peach, Pitch whatever because that was how the nice store lady said it. I only found out that it was a Spitz and that it would grow up beautifully. The first name I was thinking of giving it was Brian, then I changed it to Stewie (Brian and Stewie are from Family Guy ^_^), then I just remembered that I was suppose to give a dog who looks like a wolf will have the name Kiba. Kiba, that is his name now. I think my mom bought Kiba as a gift for my brother because my brother passed Nursing and PT in UST. Yesterday he kept saying that that was the best gift ever. Now, I'm waiting for what my brother's going to say when he receives his laptop. ^_^

*One more sticker to complete the Starbuko card thing and one sticker closer to get my Starbuko planner. Thank you Erin & Patty and to all the people who made this possible. xDD
